This project is about my trip to the United Arab Emirates. My friend George and I planned the trip about 6 months before leaving. The excitement started to rise day by day.

On the 1st of March 2020  the situation has been quite worrying since headlines about coronavirus spread about everywhere. -"Italians left at the airports" - A lot of friends cancelled the planned flights. We stood still. Day by day we checked the news and called the Airlines.

5thMarch 2020 - we flew to Dubai and landed there at night.

In the following dayswe explored the city and its surroundings  and we even went to visit Abu Dhabi once. In the meantime, Italy announced the lockdown. It was  a exciting journey.

On the 12th of march we went back to Italy, where the roads were empty and dead due to the COVID 19 emergency state.
